Bluebell View Student Residences

Description

Bluebell View was a highly unique student residence project given its settlement in the countryside. As a result it required a high degree of sensitivity, aiming to align the site with the great tradition of British university towns.

The design was meticulously planned, strategically placing the new buildings to enhance the green belt setting. Significant attention was given to the  spacing as this was critical to augment the identity of the residential ‘quad’.  The living space was developed with the student at the forefront, ensuring study spaces were arranged around the wings edges facing east and west to evade daily glare and solar gain to create a residence that truly encapsulates the needs of the learner.
